About
Raised in Southern Maryland, studied Computer Science and Business, and eventually found my way to Charlotte, NC. After starting my career as a software engineer, I spent several years living and working in South America with non-profits and small businesses, which shaped how I think about opportunity, work, and community.
These days I split my energy between building better opportunities for workers and results for clients in the staffing industry, creating spaces where people can connect around ideas and technology, and making tangible things from pottery and photos to experiences and events.
Work
Product & Data · MyWorkChoice
VP of product for MyWorkChoice, a staffing company focused on flexible shift work in U.S. manufacturing and light industrial environments.
I work across product, data, and operations to help clients hit their fill rate goals while giving workers more control over when and how they work.
Engineering & Early Career
Before MyWorkChoice, I worked as a software engineer at Red Ventures and studied Computer Science & Business at Olivet Nazarene University.
I also spent two years traveling and working throughout South America, collaborating with non-profits and small businesses and becoming conversational in Spanish.
Community
Charlotte Tech & Startup Friends
I co-lead a grassroots tech and startup community in Charlotte — hosting meetups, conversations, and gatherings for people building things in and around the city.
Create
Pottery
I’ve been practicing pottery for a few years, mostly functional pieces: cups, bowls, and everyday objects that feel good in the hand and hold up to real use.
g camp
Since 2023 leading build for g camp at Burning Man. A cozy dance floor and space for artist and music appreciators to dance and be silly. Creating shady spots in a dusty place.
Photography & Music
I shoot on film and enjoy documenting travel, gatherings, and the small details of everyday life. I also DJ house & disco music for the cats at home. Always open to exploring and collaborating in new mediums.
Movement
Yoga
Yoga has been a steady part of my life. When teaching I share a slow and accessible vinyasa flow. When practicing I love a hot, challenging class.
